Qualification Overview


The Level 2 National Award in the Safeguarding of vulnerable Adults is designed to provider learners with the underpinning knowledge to support their organisations in their commitment and legal obligation to safeguard vulnerable adults. 


The course has been developed using Government guidance including the ‘No Secrets’ 2000 document. 


The course is designed for paid workers, volunteers, supervisors, managers etc who require an underpinning knowledge on the safeguarding of vulnerable adults within health and social care. It is also ideal for anyone who requires to refresh their knowledge. 

The course is designed to provide a national syllabus, but with the opportunity to add local policies and procedures to allow the course to be tailored to each organisations needs.  


Guided Learning Hours:10


The number of tutor-led contact hours required to support learner achievement of a unit/module or qualification.



A maximum of 12 students can be accommodated on this course and must be aged a minimum of 16 years or above.



We are also able to deliver this course on your site, subject to a pre-course assessment of your premises, reducing your costs in respect of additional time out and travelling.
