2 Day Paediatric First Aid

 

The 2 Day course is designed for the candidates to become Paediatric First Aiders. This course follows the recommendations of OFSTED, Sure Start, NMCA and EYFS for child minders, nursery workers and teachers. 

 

Course Description

To give the candidates the knowledge and confidence to carry out first aid emergencies to children and infants. This course is ideal for child minders, nursery workers and teachers.

 

Duration

12 hours of contact teaching hours. Usually carried out over 2 days.

  • Epilepsy

 

Certification

On successful completion of the course a certificate will be issued stating specifically that the course covered child and infant first aid. The assessment is carried out by theory tests and practical assessments throughout the course. The certificate is valid for 3 years.

 

Numbers

A maximum of 12 students can be accommodated on this course and must be aged a minimum of 16 years or above.

 

Location

We are also able to deliver this course on your site, subject to a pre-course assessment of your premises, reducing your costs in respect of additional time out and travelling.
